This room is not for everybody

I am not a trainer. I lived in the cage.
In 2015 I sold my home and my car to start Ethika, against my family’s wishes. Two colleagues quit alongside me to follow a roadmap I did not have yet.

Why that matters in this room: I am not handing you a theory I read somewhere. I built two companies with no outside money, and I only built the second one after I learnt how to get out of the first one’s way. That is the whole subject of these two days.

Two full days. I cannot leave my company for two days.
You have just answered the Disappearance Test. If two days is genuinely impossible, this is not optional for you, it is urgent.
Practically: the two days are back to back, in Mumbai, and we finish at 5 both days. Every founder who has told me they could not leave has left, and their company was fine. That in itself is the first piece of evidence.
Is this a motivational seminar?
No. There are no slides on day one and exactly one on day two. Nobody stands up and shouts. You will do arithmetic on your own payroll, plot your own team on a curve, and write down things you will not want to show anyone. It is closer to a diagnosis than a talk.
Will you try to sell me insurance?
No. Not one pitch, not one demo, not one brochure, this is a rule of the room, not a courtesy. Ethika is where I learned all of this; it is not what the two days are for. Nobody from the company will call you about insurance afterwards unless you ask.
I have already done delegation and SOP courses.
So had most of the room. SOPs move the work. They do not change who wants to do it. This is not a course on handing things over, it is about why the handover keeps coming back to you.
My company is smaller than 100 people. Is this too early?
This room is built for founders of companies above 100 people, and I would rather tell you that plainly than take your money. Under 100, one socket still just about carries the load. Above 100, the socket becomes the ceiling, and every month you wait is expensive.
If you are close to 100 and growing fast, write to me and I will tell you honestly whether to come now or in six months.
Why should I pay now, before 3 October 2026?
Because the price you pay today is the price you keep. The workshop is confirmed for 3 October 2026 · Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, and if that date does not work for you, your seat simply moves to the next Mumbai batch, at the price you originally paid.
And if no Mumbai date works for you within six months, we refund in full. Your money can wait for a batch; it is never trapped in one. Booking early saves you ₹10,000 and risks nothing.
Can I bring my co-founder?
Yes, and if you run the company together, the two of you hearing the same two days saves a hundred second-hand retellings later. Each founder books their own seat. The room itself is founders-only; seats are not for delegates or team members.
What I share in that room is sensitive. Who sees it?
The room runs on one rule, agreed aloud on the first morning: numbers never carry company names, stories never carry surnames. Your payroll figure, your team map and your written pages stay with you, nothing is collected, nothing is photographed.
And if there is somebody you would rather not sit beside, tell us before and we will seat you apart. No questions.
I am not technically the founder.
The cage does not care whose name is on the shareholders’ agreement. It only cares whose phone buzzes. If everything routes to you, this room is for you.
Is there an online version? Recordings?
No. Half of what works here happens because the founders are physically in one room, the standing counts, the silences, the moment somebody else takes the marker. It does not survive a Zoom link.
There are no recordings either: part of what makes the room honest is that nothing said in it leaves it.
What language is the room in?
English, with the Hinglish every Indian founder actually thinks in. If you read this page comfortably, you belong.
I am not in Mumbai. Worth flying in?
The two days are back to back precisely so one trip covers it, land the night before, fly out after the second close. Travel and stay are yours. Other cities are not announced, so if the room matters to you, Mumbai is the date that exists.
Do I need to prepare anything?
About twenty minutes, three days before. Ten happy memories, two quick questions, and your monthly all-in payroll number. Bring that number, it becomes your leak.
What happens after the two days?
You leave inside a group of three founders, with a WhatsApp group and a date in it. At ninety days they ask you exactly two questions: Did you disappear? Did your word survive?
What if I book and then cannot attend?
Your seat moves to the next Mumbai batch, the same promise as a date change. Nothing expires.
Do I get an invoice? Is GST included?
The fee is ₹20,000 plus 18% GST, ₹10,000 + GST for the first five seats, ₹11,800 all-in. You get a proper GST invoice, so if your company is paying, it is an input credit and not a sunk cost.
