What we collect, and what we never do with it
This page covers the workshop website and the booking process for The Company That Runs Without You. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, that is our failure; write to us and we will explain it.

What we collect, and why
This site does not take payment. It has one form, to register your interest in a seat. When you fill it in, we collect only what that form asks for:
- Your name, because the seat is personal to you
- Your work email and phone number, so a named human can reach you to confirm your seat and share the payment link, date and venue
- Your company and your role (founder, owner / MD, CEO or other leadership), so we know the room is right for you before we take this further
- An optional note, only if you choose to write one
When you submit the form, our server also records, automatically, a few technical details tied to that submission: your IP address and browser user-agent (kept as a security and anti-abuse measure, e.g. rate-limiting the form), and, if you arrived through one of our own links, first-party referral / campaign labels and an anonymous session id, so we can tell which of our own pages sent you. These carry no data beyond the labels on our own links.
We also store the exact consent wording you agreed to, with a version and timestamp, as the record of your permission (see below). Payment, invoicing and GST are handled later, only once a date is set and you choose to pay through the secure link we email you, and never on this website.
The calculator
The payroll leak calculator on the workshop page runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into it are never sent to us, never stored, and never connected to any form or analytics. Close the page and they are gone.
How we contact you, and opting out
The form has one consent box, and it is not ticked for you, you tick it yourself. By ticking it you agree that the workshop team may contact you about upcoming founder-workshop cohorts, by email, phone or WhatsApp, using the details you gave. That is the only thing your details here are used for.
You can stop it at any time, as easily as you started it: reply “stop” to any WhatsApp message, or email us (below) and we remove you. Withdrawing consent is free and takes one message.
What we never do with your data
- We never sell your data, to anyone.
- We never use your registration details to market insurance or any other product to you. This workshop is a leadership programme; the details you give here are used for this workshop only. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, using them for a different purpose would need your fresh, separate consent, and we do not ask for it here.
- We never pre-tick a consent box, and we never make marketing consent a condition of booking.
Who touches your data
As few hands as possible:
- The workshop team, a named human who reads your registration and follows up about your seat
- Our website and database host, which serves this page and stores your registration, and keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security
No advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, no trackers. This site loads nothing from Meta, Google or any other tracker, its content-security policy blocks external scripts entirely, so no ad network learns you were here. Your data stays in India, on infrastructure permitted under Indian law.
How long we keep it
- Your registration details: until the workshop cohort you registered interest in has run, or until you ask us to erase them, whichever comes first. If you go on to book and pay, tax law then requires us to keep the resulting invoice records for up to 8 years, but that only begins if and when you pay.
- Your consent record (the wording, version and timestamp): kept as long as we hold your details, as the proof of the permission you gave, and deleted with them.
- Security server logs (IP, browser type): kept only as long as needed to protect the form from abuse, then rotated out.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Erase it, once we are no longer legally required to keep it
- Withdraw any consent you gave, as easily as you gave it
One message does it. We respond within 7 working days.
